Pulse Welding Tips

Over 1,000,000 workers are exposed to threatening levels of crystalline silica dust every year. More than 250 of the people in contact with these particles die with silicosis. Silicosis is a disease which has no available cure. It is avoidable if poisonous exposure levels are reduced. The most frequently used hardware for work tasks like these are fitted with an inlet intended for a portable dust collector.

Many workers must employ insufficient vacuums which can clog or don’t use dust collection equipment in the slightest. Standard vacuums that are engineered to capture dust as it is projected regularly contain the dust that’s damaging to the operator as well . A dust extractor is the option that will correctly address the need to contain dusts that may finally cause silicosis and other related breathing diseases. Most dust extractors can collect very dense levels of fine dust particles without clogging. Dust extraction is the absolute best option available to prevent the numerous respiratory conditions that can result from poisonous crystalline silica dust particles being inhaled.
Obtaining a dust extractor for all of your machines in your work area or home is essential. It prevents the risk of unsafe fine dust escaping back into the environment which you’ll be spending your time in. The average dust extractor uses a filter. The extractor pulls air to trap the dust. The dust produced by power tool use floats simply in the surrounding air under normal operating conditions exposing staff. When the dust settles an individual sometimes conducts some kind of clean-up. Dust extractors was created to help to solve the quandary of removing dust from all over the operating area of power tools.

The standard dust extractor has numerous parts which works together to clear the air of dust particles. The dust extraction hood is found close to the point where the dust is generated which is hooked up to a suction hose. The hose operates with a separation accessory to separate the dust from the air taken in via air flow. Parts used for separating the dust from suctioned air by the dust extraction system consists of filters and storms. Fans and root pumps are used sometimes too.

Help answer the question about mig welding

What would cause Mig Welding gun nozzle to ground out or arc against work piece?
I bought a new miller welder and the Mig Gun Nozzle grounds out and arcs when it touches the work piece. I'm running solid wire with shielding gas and the polarity is set up correctly. Almost seems like an insulator is failing.
This happened before I had any slag build up, brand new nozzle.

    very nice video

pull … deeper penetration …. push … less penetration.

pull … puts more heat into the weld puddle.

push … puts less heat into the weld puddle.

This isn’t always the case though … uphill & downhill are the exactly opposite. Uphill digs deeper where as downhill doesn’t.

When your practicing … don’t fill in you weld at the end … you can easily tell which methods penetrate deeper into the base metal.
